Basically, in Year 11 terms 1-3, assessments still don't count towards your HSC. Although in term 4-3 of Year 12, school based assessments will give you a mark that contributes to 50% of your HSC mark. The other 50% is from the HSC test in November.

Did you not listen to the numerous times Mrs. Paix told us that Year 11 does not go towards Year 12?

Preliminary definitely does not count towards the HSC.

HSC Assessment begins in Term 4 of Year 11.

yeah i did, just that my mum raged at my eco mark and didnt believe that Prelim didnt count, so yeah, this was just to make sure Smile

BTW, when does the 2010 edition of Australia and the Global Economy (whatever our eco text for year 12 is called) come out?

It probably comes out sometime in term 3 (if not already). You should really be focusing on studying for the Year 11 yearly instead of trying to get ahead of everyone...

yeah bro, Mrs Paix said so cos im on holidays for all of the summer hols, so u guys will be studying for that then --'
