Year 9 Subject Selections-Whose Doing What?

Just curious to see who in Year 8 is going to be doing what in Year 9. Does anyone have any ideas of what they are going to do?

lots of people chose to continue their language,
many did engineering.
also many did p.a.s.s. because of the excursions and bludge.
music was also polpular

When we chose our subjects (2007), the most popular subjects were probably commerce, PASS (and it's not that bludgy from what I've heard) and Japanese. Not that many people chose to continue their languages (2 jap classes and one latin) and there was no music class.

Dennus, that's great, but I would like to hear your specific selections and anyone else who is willing. I think I might do for my 200 hour courses:
1-Engineering
2-PASS
3-Commerce
4-Information and Software
5-Electronics
For my 100 hour course, maybe I will do:
1-IT-Electonrics
2-Photography
3-Commerce
1-Engineering
2-PASS
3-Commerce
4-Information and Software
5-Electronics

and why do people choose commerce even if they do not wish to do it hsc?

because they said that we should choose what we want to do and not what we need to do for hsc. most people simply choose what they need to do for the future but others just pick commerce.

Is there an estimate to when we are going to get the results for our 100 hour class? I know Mr Simmons and the other organizes are working hard, but I'd just like to know approx. when we will be notified.

I am stiling wondering and waiting on any information about the confirmation of our 100 hour course. I appreicate what you are doing but I would have assumed it would be quicker than the 200 hour courses with more subjects and two options per person.
