English Choices

What's your reason for your choice?

I haven't decided yet...hm...

In regards to the topic, not sure yet, but leaning towards extension.

38/40 in half yearly is more capable than most imo.

I'm doing advanced so I can fit in another subject ;D

And some Year 11's have told me that it's a lot of work for 1 unit.

Yeah, I think I'll stick to advanced. But, we aren't allowed to take 11 units in year 11 are we? I'll probably have to pick up some other subject (and miss out on sport, yay).

You can't take 11 units in Year 11, but that is why we have a few 1 unit subjects such as Photography & Digital Imaging, so you can make your units up to 12 units without taking an extra subject.

I guess it depends what your motivation for the extra subject is;

If it is I'll take it but drop it at the end of Year 11, then I reckon your better off taking a 1 unit subject which you have to drop at the end of Year 11 anyway, plus it gives you the chance to try something that you wouldn't normally do.

If you think you might keep the extra 2 unit subject, then OK go the 13 unit route.

Also, I'm probably doing extension English, I'd think it'd be well worth it.

I am planning on doing ext 2 english, mainly just because it's a major work and I think I'll be able to do that well. Or at least I hope =D

I think it was "Enthusiasm and Dedication", not "Academic Achievement"

I'm going to take Extension 1, mainly because I absolutely love English. I kinda majorly screwed up this term (79%, eek eek eek) but Sweeney says that all the problems with my essays are fairly fixable.

How so? It seems to be normal. Pretty much everyone I've spoken to is taking extension.

Not everyone Thai, I think Anthony is kinda right, there aren't that many people who want to do extension as I would have expected.

It depends what you guys mean by "not as many as I expected". I assumed there would only be like 50-60 doing extension. Not sure about you guys though.
