Is dentistry only a postgrad in NSW? And what course(undergrad)/HSC subjects do you need to do Dentistry?
Thank-you

At Sydney Uni, dentistry is only postgrad, and this, i think, is the case in all NSW unis.

From Sydney Uni dentistry website (http://www.dentistry.usyd.edu.au/student/bdent.php), "The BDent is open to applicants who have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited University."

Thanks, but also, do you know if/what the ATAR/UAI needed to do the course is?

OVER 9000
No, but really, the required ATAR changes each year depending on the demand or something.

Re: Dentistry in NSW
There is no entrance score really. Each uni accepts a certain amount of people, and the published UAI/ATAR is the score of the last person accepted.
Just say the UNI offered a really advanced course which you would not survive without extreme learning ability (98+) and only had 2 spots open for.
But only 2 people applied both with ATARs of 83 and 80.
Having 2 spots for 2 people, both would technically be accepted, but they could still be rejected since this is such a ridiculous example.
There's no "entrance score" as such, but the higher you get, the higher a chance you will be within the margin of students that are accepted to take a spot with the people who are taken into the course.

Sathey is right: It is a GAMSAT for dentistry. UMAT is for those in high school going towards undergrad. GAMSAT is for those already doing a degree wanting to apply for a post grad course. (ie. Dentistry)
