Year 10, can you help Year 8?

Soon Year 8 will be making their choices for next year.

Next week they will find out about the forum and start thinking about what they are going to choose for their electives.

As there are many of you registered on the forum, perhaps some of you could help answer some of their questions. As you have seen not many teachers are using the forum, so perhaps you can fill the void!

If you do decide to help Year 8, please keep your comments constructive and useful, not just things like "I hated subject x, don't do it!!".

Are they getting 2x 200hour & 1x100hour electives too?

Yes, but it may be a little different to when you did it.

They will do their selections in two stages;

1) Select their 2 X 200 hour courses

2) Then they pick their 100 hour course

I think when you did it you picked all of the electives at once.
